Retain the original artefact and parser output. Treat a parsed record as an observation, not automatic proof. Record the input identifier, tool version, relevant commands or settings, time and time zone, output location, and any errors or limitations as you work.

Accessing SDBExplorer in SUSA

SDBExplorer is a tool by Eric Zimmerman used to analyse Windows Application Compatibility Databases (.sdb files).

Use it on a copied .sdb file to review database metadata and compatibility entries that may explain how Windows treated an application. Record the source path and hash of the database, then correlate relevant entries with file-system, Registry and execution artefacts before drawing a conclusion.
