Install and Open FTK Imager

Obtain FTK Imager

Navigate to FTK Imager's free download page and select the free download.

After registering the requested details, save the FTK Imager ISO file in C:\Tools\FTK Imager.

Mount the installation media

Double-click the ISO file to mount it, then select Open. In this example the image is mounted as drive F:.

Open the mounted drive and launch the FTK Imager installer.

Select Yes at the User Account Control prompt.

Complete installation

Select Install to install CodeMeter Runtime.

After CodeMeter installation completes, the FTK Imager installation wizard opens automatically.

Accept the licence agreement and retain the default installation options unless your environment requires a documented change.

Confirm installation settings

When installation completes, select Finish. The installer creates a desktop shortcut and launches FTK Imager.

Open FTK Imager

Right-click the desktop shortcut and select Properties. Confirm the target is C:\Program Files\AccessData\FTK Imager\FTK Imager.exe, then move the shortcut to C:\Tools\FTK Imager if this matches your SUSA workstation convention.

Version and trust checkpoint

Record the downloaded filename, FTK Imager version, authoritative source, download date and available integrity information. Recheck current licence and vendor requirements rather than assuming the screenshots represent the latest release.
